Returns one recorded run: its status, its verdict, the window it covered and how
many rows it has walked so far.
rowsVerified advances monotonically while a run is in flight, which is what
makes a stalled run visible. A control that fails silently is worse than no
control, because its absence is indistinguishable from its success.
